At Crown Entertainment, we pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge solutions that elevate the worship experience. Our recent installation at Center Church (formerly Conway Church of the Nazarene) was no exception. This project was a true transformation, turning their multi-purpose gym into a fully equipped worship center with state-of-the-art audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems.
The Challenge: Complete Overhaul
The journey began with a complete demolition of their former worship space, which had originally served as a gymnasium. Our team faced the challenge of designing a system that not only addressed the acoustical and visual needs of a modern worship experience but also fit within the unique dimensions of the space.
To kick things off, I created a digital render of the new AVL system that included:
- JBL VRX Line Array PA System
- Artfox Video Walls for stunning visuals
- Springtree Lighting to enhance the atmosphere
- West Penn Cable for reliable connections
- Georgia Expo Draping to create the right aesthetic
- RF Venue Mic Distribution, Crown Amplifiers, and Shure Microphones for superior sound quality
The design render was presented to the client, and we were ready to get to work!
A Tight Deadline: From November to September
The original open date was set for November, but like many projects, deadlines shifted. We were asked to move up the completion date to September 8th—two months ahead of schedule. Despite the tight timeline, our team pulled off the install seamlessly.
The Results: An Awe-Inspiring Worship Experience
I was fortunate to attend the very first service after the renovation. Walking into the transformed space and seeing the congregation’s smiling faces was a reminder of why we do what we do. The energy was palpable, not only because of the state-of-the-art AVL upgrades but also due to the overall transformation of the church building.
Gabriel, the lead pastor at Center Church, expressed his satisfaction, stating:

With this project wrapped up, we’re excited about what’s ahead for Center Church and look forward to seeing how they continue to engage their congregation with their new space.
